Account settings apply to you, not to the active team. Open them from the profile menu → Settings (or /user/settings).

Profile

Update:

  • First and last name
  • Emoji shown next to your name

Save after editing. These fields appear in team member lists and audit metadata where your user is recorded.

Email

Use Change email to set a new address. Confirm any verification step the product requires before the new address becomes active.

If you use OAuth (Google/GitHub), some identity fields may be managed by the provider — you can still change password settings when email/password is enabled for your account.

Password

  1. Enter your current password.
  2. Choose a new password and confirm it.
  3. Save.

After a password change, keep MFA recovery codes somewhere safe if MFA is enabled — see Securing your account.

Danger zone

The danger zone deletes or permanently disables your user account. This is separate from leaving a team or deleting a team.

Only use it when you intend to remove your login entirely. Prefer removing yourself from teams or revoking API keys if you only need to leave a workspace.
